Ingredients:


  • Aashirvaad Atta– 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery – 1/2 cup
  • Aashirvaad Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Nuts to garnish

How to Prepare Whole Wheat Barfi?


  1. In a pan heat in ghee , once it is melted add in the Aashirvaad atta and roast in a low flame until the colour changes to golden and you will get a nice aroma.
  2. Next add in the cardamom powder and the Jaggery. Mix well. Cook till the jaggery melts and blends well with the Aashirvaad atta.
  3. Keep a tray or plate greased with ghee ready. Now transfer the Aashirvaad atta to the greased plate and level it.
  4. While it is still hot draw lines to shape it into burfi’s and garnish with any nuts of your choice. Once it cools down you can separate them into pieces.
